I'm afraid that "the Fitbit universe" is heading towards an impending collapse. Verify connection to phone in Settings > turn off Do Not Disturb > re-pair Fitbit > clean Fitbit > format Fitbit. Check Bluetooth connection > disconnect other Bluetooth devices > restart Fitbit app > check for updates. Unfortunately, this appears to be "the future of Fitbit" - reliance on Apple and Android phones for setup and tracking information, while computers and the web-based Fitbit Dashboard get ignored and unsupported, and nonsensical, useless products get rushed to market. Clean connections > try using a different charger or outlet > replace charging cable > bring phone closer. The new dock is perhaps the stupidest design ever produced in the history of the consumer electronics industry - I cannot even comprehend how a "design" like this was even imagined, let alone "approved" and manufactured. The original Versa dock was simple and effective - it sat on your table, entirely stable, and you just popped your Versa into it, and walked away. Who would ever think that Versa would change the simple act of charging an "updated" device? Certainly not all of the sellers who just automatically started stating that their original Versa chargers would charge the Versa 2 - which, of course, we know they won't. I returned my Versa 2 because of its stupid charging dock, and how it was 100% incompatible with the original Versa charging dock. This Fitbit Versa 2 charging cable has a rounded corner design, providing a seamless look and helping to prevent snags during transportation. I’ve had a Fitbit for 7 years and don’t like change but I’ve had a iPhone for 12 years and at least the same chargers for 5 years!!! Every new fit bit has a new charger and accessories which is pretty annoying!!!! Not impressed at all Fitbit!!! When will chargers and screen protectors be available? Versa 2 sounded better but this charger fiasco makes me think if I still should be loyal. Both my parents have the Versa and know yet again another charger being a big Blaze fan and I didn’t like the Versa. Definitely not customer focus and extremely frustrating. This is a big blunder from Fitbit as there is no chargers available not even on their website. I’m assuming everyone thought the same as on Thursday all descriptions changed to “not for Versa 2” and I got my money back. I bought a charger and screen protector but found out it is not compatible when I tried it. I pre-ordered my Fitbit Versa 2 and last week Saturday all chargers on Amazon said it will be compatible. I’ve search every where for a Versa 2 charger.
